I saw Aladdin last night as well. James Inglehart deserves the Tony (I've seen every single musical with the exceptions of Cabaret (yet to open) and Gentleman's Guide (seeing soon)).

What Inglehart does is absolutely incredible. His energy, stage presence and lovely voice (wow-he just filled that theater) is absolutely amazing.

What works against him is...it's Disney..and the production overall is meh.

I think Danny Burstein will pose the most threat to his winning. As much as I adore Burstein, James Inglehart made me, someone who typically hates Disney (with the exception of The Lion King), really enjoy his performance. He was 100% in character and in the moment the entire time. I think he totally deserves a nod and a win. (He is also a sweet guy-I've met him. This couldn't happen to a nicer guy if he wins.)
