It was a paper little comedy with several funny bits business and an amusing line or two. Page was a hoot.it was about the relationship of two couples stranded at a backwoods airport. Do not know why they. We're in a hangar. Maybe they owned the plane? The costumes were fun, cast was delightful but was not much of a play.the reviews were mostly poor. A few critics were charmed but still dismissive. Played a week and a half or two weeks, I think. Surprised it did not do better with community theaters. Play was set in in the 1920's 30's, I think. Not awful...but not good. Broadway used have any number of these kind of pleasant but dismissible comedies every season. The economics and the audience demographics were different. Usually every couple seasons one would slip past the critics and run6-8 months maybe even a year. That hardly ever happens for something like this today. They cost much too much to produce and the tix price today would simply be too high. It is really sort of sad. There is a kind of comedy that I think Broadway has lost forever. Broadway is an investment for the audience. It used to be a fun treat you could give yourself several times a month.
