Rocky Seating … fight?

Posted by: jero 12:29 pm EDT 03/19/14

I apologize for not paying closer attention but I didn't expect to book an emergency trip. Do you guys recommend sitting close and having to move for the fight or sitting further back and staying in your seat?
thanks… I't probably gonna be Rocky, Violet and one slot open… I'm leaning toward the duke ellington thing for dance, (that Karina woman is a killer goddess) or bridges or if/then so suggestions appreciated. Hedwig is a minor possibility for various reasons.

I sat on stage last night. Slight spoiler:

When the ring moves forward, the stage seating moves too. I thought that was very exciting. Great view and the ring spins around so you get to see every view. I teared up because the fight was so well staged. I don't know how they did it.

But I think the better view is mid orch. When I saw it in previews, too many people were in the ring to see rocky-.Adrian at the end, but someone reported that has changed. Also, you can't see the two commentators on the jumbo from stage sets.

After midnight is really terrific. I'm not big into revues, but the tap dancing is fantastic. I got a rich seer for 37 row d against wall which was a fine view is since the band is in stage in the back. No student ID needed.

I like bridges a lot--way more than rocky. I haven't seen if/then. I saw violet years ago as two acts a didn't like it. On Tuesday night, I might be able to make an 8 o'clock show from the airport, so violet is one of the few shows available.

thank you... our main reason for going is Violet. after midnight is looking better--- i could use a hard tap show... i figure the dancing here would be exceptional.
