Gentleman's Guide may well take book or score-a lot depends on the reviews for If/Then and Bullets (and rulings on Hedwig and Violet). I think If/Then may win-it's an original musical (and Kitt and Yorkey are darlings of the theater now-my own distaste of the show notwithstanding) Another possibility is "After Midnight" which, while a musical revue, has done decently this season and is critically acclaimed (Fosse, Smokey Joe's and Ain't Misbehaving all won and I view them as revues) While I adored Iglehart's performance, I don't think the production was anything special (they'll be lucky to be nominated). Also-The Lion King did win best musical. So this would be Disney's second best musical win if Aladdin ekes out a win.
