The short answer is that the label benefits significantly if you buy from them, but a sale is a sale and it's better to buy the better deal than not buy at all.

The slightly longer answer is that it depends on a number of variables, including what sort of distribution agreement the label has, and there are other benefits to the label when you buy from a store like Amazon (including ensuring that those stores continue to stock that kind of product and protecting the label against having future product returns from the store - that's less of an issue with Amazon than it is for brick and mortar stores, but an issue nonetheless).
