New Amsterdam Theater

The balcony seating says there is a pole in the line of vision? What does this mean?? Are the balcony bad seats??

The balcony there is great, especially the front. The sound is excellent. Bring binocs for the occasional close-up view. I don't remember ever having a problem with poles, but I think there aren't many of them and they are in the rear. I would assume specific seats blocked by a pole would be noted as such when you purchase them.
