That's so sad, I'm sorry to hear it. I fear that Sacramento Opera is heading the same way. They folded mid-season a few years ago, then came back after they reconfigured and combined with the Sac Symphony, and now all we get is one fully-staged opera a year when it used to be three. And the one opera we saw this year didn't have a set to speak of, just six chairs and a screen with projected scenery. :-( But I'm going to keep getting season tickets as long as they last!
