Because the audience did not need a break from laughing too hard. There are some chuckles here and there and a few out loud laughs, but not many. And the left liberal speeches at the end are preaching to choir when it comes to berkeley rep,audience. A dismal evening in my book. With man in a case and this, I've had enough of this dark absurdist "farces" at berkeley rep. Give me noises off for a laugh.
