I've going to new conserv for almost 20 years. Same with act and I don't like much that perloff has been in charge. As for new conserv, I am pissed at the muni subscription price. And I've been a bit unhappy at the lack of gay content in some of there selections. There are plenty of straight theaters to show other desert cities and don't theaterworks do it last year? And both yellow and beautiful launderette had way more hetero kissing and fondling on stage than a quick gay kiss in both of those shows. And if you are going to do repeat shows like r&j, I think there are better shows. I guess they won't do love valor compassion (99 season) again because of the nudity. And I would like to see kiss of the spider woman musical there. Or Party which I think was a commercial run at the theater under rubys about 15 years ago.
