Richard Greenberg's TAKE ME OUT: Does Anyone Know When He Began Writing It?

Posted by: Shakespeare_in_the_Dark 01:25 pm EDT 03/27/14

The play had interesting origins, in that Greenberg didn't become a baseball fan until 1999 (!)--

Just a few years before the play's debut.

Now, I"ve Googled this, before troubling you fine folk, but to no avail...

Does anyone know when Greenberg actually began working, or noodling on the script?

With the happy days of a new season just ahead, I was compelled to wonder!
