I saw The Lion King at the New Amsterdam. Haven't been back since. The Lunt-Fontanne has had a string of shows I haven't been interested in, starting with Beauty and the Beast (which I did end up seeing, although in Moscow, in Russian). I would've been happy to see A Christmas Story, but I don't go to New York during the holiday season. The Longacre has had a string of flops and/or limited runs - some of which I had no desire to see, others that I would have seen if I'd been in town at the right time. I'm sure I'll get there eventually.
