Strange intermission at Mice and Men

Posted by: nsomnia 06:03 pm EDT 03/27/14

I was at Of Mice and Men last night, and enjoyed it immensely. However, I was totally surprised at the strange behavior of the theater administration at intermission. There was virtually no announcement that the intermission had come to an end. Everything became dark suddenly, and the second act resumed.
I was in the mezzanine and watched several dozen people stumbling back to their seats. It would have been funny if it weren't so disruptive not to mention unsafe for the poor scramblers.
What's up with that?
