Tonys already have ruled on a ''Glass'' act

All 4 of the actors in this revival of ''The Glass Menagerie'' were billed above the title, but the Tony committee agreed to put Brian J. Smith and Celia Keenan-Bolger in Featured, so Cherry Jones and Zachary Quinto are still Leading.

Even though the Times' Ben Brantley has called Quinto ''the finest Tom I've ever seen,'' it might be tough for him to nab a Leading Actor nomination. This category looks like it has more suitors than even Amanda Wingfield claimed.

Trivia: Since the Tonys started, there have been 5 other remountings of ''Glass Menagerie,'' but it's never been a Tony nominee for any of its revivals, nor has any performer from them. With any luck, this Tiffany ''Glass'' breaks the cycle.
