Unless they have considerably rewritten the show from DC, then Rapp and Snyder don't have the same size roles. While I'd agree they are both supporting roles, Rapp's was the larger, more important role with more stage time and more scenes that were about him and not Menzel. Snyder has his solo but otherwise is the love interest and not an independent character.
