I was there too. Amazed that the usually sleeping MTC crowd of elders was alive, well, engaged & VERY vocal. Sounded like a Baptist Church revival meeting.
The play's a messy soap opera with lots of emoting & overacting; every role!
The usually fine & subtle Nina, Kathleen & Tina allowed shameless excesses (I guess) to keep the audiences awake.
VERY expensive set/costumes for naught.
BORE.
