And, that's what makes horse races.

Tho you certainly cited some horrible lyrics--the show also has ONE OF THE BEST songs written for the stage in a long while: "Seventeen"

The overall score is fun and pop--and better than most of the new scores this year on Broadway.

Agree with your (lack of) direction assessment.

Cast have GREAT voices.
