I haven't seen this Les Mis, so it was probably unfair for me to say that, but I feel that Les Mis has been around forever and, unlike Gypsy or other frequently revived shows, never seems to have gone away. I think it's hard for an actor to win an award for such a long-running and ubiquitous show. It would be like someone winning for playing the Phantom or Mufasa at this point. But maybe I would feel differently if I'd seen the Les Mis revival.
