Well, it's not a musical (that is until they made one out of it 13 years later) but the film "Some Like It Hot" is the biggest surprise to me with regards to dubbing. When Tony Curtis speaks as Josephine it is the voice of the great mimic Paul Frees. I didn't know it until about ten years ago and now when I watch the movie I can't get over how seamless it is.
