I don't think I'd disagree with you but the statement that "[t]he rules for this season are set" misapprehends the nature of the "rule." There is nothing standing in the way of a change in the rules (other than potential public or private outrage). Rules are enforceable against anyone except the rulemakers. It is an empire, not a democracy.
