Thanks for saving me the price of a ticket. I rarely make this often heard comment, but to me Heathers simply didn't need to be musicalized. The film is so specific in tone and presents such a consistent and complete worldview, I don't see how songs could't dilute it. The "usual cluster of musical previews screamers" is my least favorite type of audience. I'll gladly pass.
