The night I saw Urinetown at American Theatre of Actors, she was sitting directly behind me, accompanied by two gay men. That is, she was accompanied by two gay men. I was accompanied by one. And don't ask me how I know the two men with Rivers were gay. I just know. I'm like that.

Sitting directly in front of me was Henry Winkler, who was alone and was extremely friendly. I came back from the men's room at intermission to find him chatting with my friend, who later told me that Winkler started the conversation (with something like, "This is great, isn't it?"). He would not have started the conversation with Winkler.

Rivers did not start a conversation with us. But then she wasn't alone.
