Eric Anderson sure isn't getting one. Bryce Pinkham is really very good, but Jefferson Mays so dominates GG that he's a long shot. Adam Jacobs also appears somewhat diminished opposite James Iglehart. If Will Swenson and/or Ramin Karimloo get nominated, it will be for being Will Swenson and/or Ramin Karimloo. I don't think anyone's particularly eager to honor the eightieth actors to play these roles on Broadway, even if they are technically eligible. Zachary Levi would have had a great shot at a nom in another year; it's just too crowded a field. Norbert Leo Butz? Maybe. The show's long gone and some said he was working too hard, but it's hard not to love the guy. Very difficult to see Zach Braff, Neil Patrick Harris (provisional), Jefferson Mays, Steven Pasquale or Andy Karl not getting a nomination, notwithstanding some mixed notices and so-so box office.
