Thanks, TheOtherOne. We should probably give Betty Wand the benefit of the doubt over anyone else. But what complicates the issue is that sometimes both the actor and the dubber record part or all of a score, and then a decision is made after the fact as to which vocal is going to be used in various sections. And if the match is close, which it should be, it can sometimes be very hard to tell which one was used, even by the people who made the recordings.

For example, I wouldn't be surprised if it's true that it's Rita singing for herself in "America" and Betty singing "Anita's gonna get her kicks...." in "Tonight." But on the other hand, I wouldn't be surprised if it's Rita singing both or Betty singing both, because those voices sound very similar to me.

That said, both Rita and Betty say that Betty sang "A Boy Like That" (and presumably also Anita's part in "I Have a Love"), so I guess we can take that as true.
