Maysoon Zayid, Arab American stand-up comic w/ cerebral palsy, dances on Broadway!

So, if you've spent more than 10 minutes on Facebook or Twitter, you've probably seen this Ted video being circulated -- most of the traffic coming because Upworthy shared it today. The video is Ted talk from Maysoon Zayid, a Palestinian American comic and actress from New Jersey. If you can spare the 15 mins, I highly encourage you to give it a view. Zayid is incredibly engaging on stage -- she's whipsmart. She's incredibly warm, but has a very sharp sense of humor. It's not only moving, but very funny. The reason I'm posting it here is that in one moment in Zayid's speech she says that she once danced on Broadway. Which, of course, is an amazing achievement for anyone, but for a young woman with CP who was told she would never walk, it is amazing. However, she didn't tell that story in her talk -- only quickly referencing it. Does anyone know the context? Was this some walk-on role? A one night benefit? Would love to know if anyone knows more.
