I'm sure they haven't, but what I mean is that this production seems like it would have perfect situation for them to have been rehearsing the understudy for that role on a regular basis during rehearsals since, unless they've made some really major changes, I'd guess Cumming didn't need that much rehearsal. If actor is sick during rehearsals (and that sure happens), the understudy stands in.
