Andy Karl oughta be a heavyweight Tony contender ...

Yes, Karl trained to be in tiptop shape, and the climactic fight must be so grueling. And he's got to belt like a champion. But in many ways, I think his toughest challenge is fighting the iconic shadow of Sylvester Stallone. Everyone coming to see ''Rocky'' is gonna expect Karl to evoke Stallone to some degree, but how do you still manage to make Balboa your own character and not get boxed in as a cartoon? To me, Karl does it with self-deprecation and sweetness.
