New Works Destined for Greatness

The MITF Commercial Division Salon Evening
of the Midtown International Theatre Festival

Monday, March 31
6:15 – 10:00 p.m.
TBG Theatre
312 West 36th Street, Third floor
Home of the Barrow Group

The 15th anniversary of the Midtown International Theatre Festival continues with the opening of the Commercial Division at a salon evening at The Barrow Group’s TBG Theatre.

MITF’s Salon – or get-together – is an evening of excerpts from shows aspiring to be part of MITF's Commercial Division. This is a separate repertory of plays and musicals whose production values are designed for Off-Broadway, a regional theatre run … or better. Each show will present 25 min. of material. Invited audience will include potential investors as well as general industry and press. Wine and cheese will be served.

Reservations for this event can be made at MidtownFestival@gmail.com.

Year 2014 marks Year 15 for the MITF, and John Chatterton is celebrating in a big way.

Prolific producer John Chatterton has been a fixture of the Manhattan theatre scene for two decades. The Midtown International Theatre Festival is a leader in presenting powerful works from around the world – and one of the best reasons to come to New York in the summer. Visit www.midtownFestival.org to learn about the Short Play Lab, the Midwinter Madness Short Play Festival, the founding Midtown International Theatre Festival, the new MITF Children’s Theatre Festival, and the Commercial Division.
