Nobody likes everything.

Everybody likes something.

To have your taste validated by having the project you like win an award is wonderful.

To have your taste validated by having the project you hate not be nominated, or be nominated, but then lose, is even better.

Some people care who wins the Tony because it's broadcast so they don't even have to see any shows to have a horse in the race.
