saw the show last nite. Kate is a new friend that lives across the hall from Liz. Kate and Lucas meet for the first time at the top of the show before Elizabeth comes on and each discuss what Elizabeth new nickname should be. I agree with Jesse21 sometimes it was a little difficult to disguised between the Liz and Kate character. Idina should have a little different hairstyle for each, maybe a ponytail all the time for Kate and no ponytail for Beth.
