The understudy to Judas (Manoel Felciano) went in in previews of JCS in 2000 with no rehearsals. Then Tony Vincent, who wasn't even a Judas understudy went on with no rehearsals and took over the role by opening night.

Alan Cumming's understudy should've been ready without rehearsal. What has he been doing all this time? He's supposed to be "studying" and ready to go on.
