You know what would be an even bigger annoyance to paying customers? Trying to experience this show, which involves moving around and occasionally being fairly close to the people around you, while also having to be aware of people's bags or maneuver around their coats. The price is higher than I would pay for just about any show, but if I were to pay top price, this is a show that warrants it. Undoubtedly one of the two best musicals I saw last year. (The other was Fun Home.) When you buy a ticket to a show, particularly one like this, you are buying into an experience. If you are not willing to go along with the experience -- which includes moving around, dancing, etc -- this isn't the show for you. That's okay. But that doesn't make the show "wrong." (I know, for example, that the dinner aspect of Queen of the Night was a big turn off for me. How did I deal with that? I didn't go to the show.)
