In the Spring of each year, Washington, DC and environs plays host to thousands upon thousands of middle and high school students on school trips to Our Nation's Capitol. One of the best ways to keep a group of hundreds of kids busy for an evening is to take them to a musical. Many of DC's professional and dinner theatres traditionally present "family friendly" shows at this time of year to accommodate that target audience.
