Are you suggesting a show's value should be measured mathematically, by dividing the cost of admission by its length? I thought it had something to do with artistic merit. As for the fairness of the price, do you begrudge the performers a chance to make a commercial wage performing a work they helped create in a not-for-profit setting? Certainly you don't think they should volunteer? The tickets pay their wages. As to not "having" a seat, the whole point of the show is the innovative staging that involves the audience in the nightclub and street politics scenes. For those who aren't comfortable standing and moving, there are places above in the gallery from which one can observe. The effect is quite unique and brilliant, as the critics agreed. It's well worth the admission.
