In reply to: Thoughts on why exactly BRIDGES OF MADISON COUNTY is in trouble - NeoAdamite 02:46 am EDT 03/30/14

Or, could it be in trouble because ladies of a certain age, who make up the largest percentage of ticket buyers, have second thoughts about taking their man to a show about a woman who has an affair while her husband is out of town?

I am shocked how poorly BRIDGES is faring on Broadway. I don't think it has had one breakeven week so far, and its prospects must be dwindling with the opening of each new musical.
