I can't wait to see it. She was great in WICKED (although, of course, she was lucky to have been the one to originate such an empathetic role). She may be too theatre-unique-looking (cf., Merman and Martin) to really cross over into film unless some cinematographer lights her better than in the films of RENT or ENCHANTED. (She looks good in the random, raw video clips I've seen where her face is given shadows, and the creamy translucence of her face is not over-emphasized.). But the fan base from WICKED, for theatre, is not to be underestimated. I so potently remember that she really delivered the goods in WICKED, and, even though one may not "like" her sound, she is able to put it at the service of story and character, she really "means" what she sings, it is powerful, and that's what I "like" in a show.
