Because he's alone? Or with another guy? A lot of out of town businessmen go to the weeknight shows just to have something to do. Often , if he's some company's client, his host company will give their out of town associates show tickets.

I have a wide circle of gay guy friends. None of them have any interest in the theater but if they go it would be to JERSEY BOYS or it's like.They wouldn't be caught dead at WICKED.
