I would recommend that producers read the on line comments to this article at NYTIMES.com
I was surprised to see that one major complaint, is the uncomfortable and small seats in the theaters. Another major one is that many if not most ahows are mediocre and dumbed down and therefore not worth the exorbitant prices.
I am an avid male theater goer, but I agree with both of these complaints.
