I recently caught the Hal Linden show in San Diego and was totally impressed and delighted. Having never watched BARNEY MILLER or any of his Broadway performances I had no idea what to expect. He sang, danced and played musical instruments With his jazz combo) to the audience's delight. Then sitting down to a prop mirror he applied makeup and a wig and performed a piece from THE ROTHCHILDS. It was a perfect evening.
