Whenever I've seen him he has always had a distracted air about him, as if he's thinking about a million other things. It didn't hurt XANADU all that much but I thought it was fatal in FINIAN'S RAINBOW, because if you don't believe Woody's passion for both Sharon and for the community, then there's not a lot to hang your hat on.

Watching BRIDGES OF MADISON COUNTY I couldn't help comparing him to Steven Pasquale, who has a similar look and bearing, but possesses a soulfulness that Cheyenne lacks. And Pasquale has a thrilling voice, where Jackson has a very pretty and pleasant voice but without much "there" there.
