Pretty much the same here. I have seen The Maids (I think there is also a film version with Glenda Jackson that survives from the 70's, but not sure) and think Ms. Blanchett will bring a lot to the play, but City Center is a barn if you are not seated well and I cannot see paying that kind of money to see Ms. B through my binoculars. I saw her Blanche, her Yelena, and her magnificent Hedda so I guess that will have to be enough for now. BTW, in the past I have see excellent work at the Lincoln Center Theatre Festival, but last year was very disappointing and this year looks weak as well. I hope this trend can be reversed.
