Isn't that funny?... I thought Michelle Williams was (by a nose) overall the very best Sally I'd yet seen on stage (& I've seen them all -though I missed the original production.)
Linda Emond is truly remarkable, and Burstein is as sweet and lovable as ever.

Michelle Williams brought to mind Jill Haworth in the original production who I remember being in the shadow of Lotte Lenya. The best Sally's I've seen on stage were Natasha Richardson and Susan Egan.

I saw Richardson and Egan too and both were "Perfectly Marvelous."

Saw the last revival 16 times (thank you student rush!) Susan Egan's performance is my all-time favorite theater performance. I was supposed to see Natasha Richardson but that stupid crane accident got in the way.

I thought Michelle Williams was wonderful. (possible spoiler) I found her Sally to be more pathetic than eccentric, which was really interesting to see.

Alan Cumming was great as always, as was Danny Burstein and Linda Emond. And it was nice to see Kristin Olness and Alan Cumming back together again!
