" i hope she listens."

I couldn't agree more. However, the folks who pay for tix want to hear the hits...whether she can still deliver them or not. Even with her mother, I thought, "Can't you sing something different?" I actually treasure Jim Bailey's version of "Out of This Worlld"...because it pretends to present a JG version of a Weill classic. When I went to see Miss Garland in concert, I was lucky enough to hear her sing "Love of My Life" fom "The Pirate", which she had, to my knowledge, never sung in concert before...and in London she sang, "For Once In My Life" by Stevie Wonder. But, let's face it, these gals were great singers and audiences would have risen to hear new or varied repertoire in tribute to their artistry. A good A&R man/woman could keep Liza relevant.... but would Ms Minnelli listen?
