I'm definitely a fan of many of his scores. I think The Scarlet Pimpernel is his best -- I love "Into the Fire", "Vivez!", and especially "Storybook". I enjoyed the first two versions of Jekyll & Hyde (pre-Broadway and Broadway). I thought that the post-Broadway tour of The Civil War that came to Chicago was quite stirring. I even liked the score of Dracula. Unfortunately, I think he has a problem when it comes to choosing collaborators.
