How Long Is Idina Menzel in If/Then

I am looking for August tickets, and I couldn't find if she was contracted for six months or a year...

My guess is, she must be contracted trough at least Jan.1. She IS this show, and everyone knew going in. I can't imagine all of this development work - years - was only for 6 months. I can see her giving up matinees, something, to stay even a year. Otherwise, the search for a pop star to replace her has already begun. No theater name that I can think of would pull a million a week. O'Hara can't sell BRIDGES. I'm waiting to hear names. My guess is: recording artists with big voices. Even that list is small. These songs are big, or rather require a big performance. What 40ish theater star would sell?

you might want to send an email listed on musical webpage. See bottom for contact. On ticketmaster--there is a link to tweet when you hit If/then---I have no idea what that does in cyberspace.

I wouldn't have the nerve to do this, but I guess you could tweet her and see if she responds. There might be a fan page that has that type of info.

In this day and age, i wish ticketmaster was better at posting this type of info, but i guess they don't want to hurt ticket sales. Telecharge is a little better at having that info.

I have to believe she's contracted at least through mid-October, the period currently on sale. She's listed above the title, so any tickets bought now are done with the assumption she'll be starring. is there are a need to list anything else?

That sounds right, about a year from the DC run. I would be surprised if she didn't stay with it for longer, if it is still selling decently.

i doubt that her contract would end before Sept 1 and my guess is at least to Jan 1, but she probably could have vacation plans by august.
