have to justify seeing the production--actor, producer of shows, choreographers, etc. I know one can lie and see most shows by a simple statement (I was denied Jerome Robbins Broadway--i even went through the hoop to get permission from the lawyer running the estate and was denied). But it seems if anyone can stream the shows, that they will lose all control over the users.

We do have a poster who works there and provided the information for our FAQ entry. Hopefully, he'll chime in here if there's anything he can share.
