He certainly makes him out to be an arrogant prick. It's hard to feel sorry for him for not composing a great symphony when he made millions conducting and wrote one of the greatest broadway musicals. Audiences adored him and he almost threw away his marriage. But that might be a proper portrayal of Bernstein. The play is entertaining and felder is extremely talented.
