*SPOTLIGHT: A SPECIAL CONVERSATION CRITICS & PLAYWRIGHTS: WE'RE ALL IN IT TOGETHER*

On Tuesday, July 8 at 7:30 pm, 3GT is presenting a very special event: a conversation between Bay Area playwrights and a panel of distinguished Bay Area theatre critics about reviewing new works. We're privileged to be joined onstage by San Francisco Chronicle theatre critic Rob Hurwitt, SF Examiner theatre critic Jean Schiffman, and SF Weekly theatre critic Lily Janiak. Each critic brings a unique perspective to the discussion, which is sure to be lively and provocative.

This topic is exceptionally timely for our community in 2014: it's been debated in print and person this year, in fora ranging from HowlRound to the Humana Festival. Our format will be informal, with the critics on the stage starting the conversation and the playwrights participating from the audience. 3GT's AJ Baker will be moderating. We are looking for full audience participation, and expect that this will be both an entertaining and thought-provoking event.

We'll be live-streaming this program on HowlRound TV so if you can't attend in person, you can still enjoy the event online.

SEE YOU AT THICK HOUSE IN JULY!
