Fringe San Diego opens tomorrow

Posted by: BillEadie 11:05 pm EDT 07/02/14

It runs through July 13, in a variety of venues in downtown San Diego. There are more than 80 different productions running in 90-minute slots. Each production runs at least three times. If the press preview is any indication, there has been an increase in the number of dance productions over last year.

Among the highlights are likely to be shows from two UK companies: Haste Theatre's production of "The Hideout" and Tin Shed Theatre's "Dr. Frankenstein's Traveling Freak Show."

Tomorrow, I am seeing Robyn Spangler's "Riddle, Ronstadt & Robyn," and Bodhi Tree Concerts production of the Brecht/Weill "7 Deadly Sins."

There's also some shows being produced in a burlesque house.

Should be an interesting 10 or so days.

Bill, in San Diego
