You have to wonder if these regional reviewers proofread their stuff before they post it. This reviewer starts two consecutive paragraphs by stating that someone "does a nice job." A little variety would be appreciated. With a phrase as hackneyed as "does a nice job," "Once," as the show reminds us, is enough

the reviewers on this site volunteer to review. I don't think any of them had any previous reviewing experience professionally. Whether you find the reviews of worth or not is another story altogether.

Here's this reviewer's bio:
Terry Morgan has been a published film and theatre critic for more than two decades. He was accepted into the Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle in 1999, and was president of the group for four years. He’s written theatre reviews for L.A. Weekly, Backstage West, LAist.com and Variety.

I think he qualifies as a professional.

Oh, so you found the one person. Bravo. Several people who review for this site are also members of the LADCC - they still review for free here - as do bloggers everywhere. I don't know - I think the days of the critic are done, don't you? But happy you had the time to look it all up.
