THE VISIT-last night in Williamstown

Posted by: NJGUY 08:12 am EDT 08/03/14

In a Cliff Notes version of the original text, Chita Rivera manages to take full control of the stage. Roger Rees does some nice work, while others get mixed in the shuffle.

Two-three strong Kander and Ebb songs that could easily have a second life beyond this show.

If you are a musical theater fan (and want to see Chita) and are a K & E fan ( hey I love the music from "Steel Pier" and though unsuccessful glad I saw that one too) then go for it. You me be disappointed but you may also be glad you saw it. Would give it 2.5 out of 4.
